As I was taking shots she was pulling down out of her side and lining the nest. I like the contrast here of her softness against the textures surrounding her.

A good and crisp shot. Birth and the preparation of it always makes me think of spring.
oh wow what a find ... nice inclusion of that touch of water .. way cool!
Great find and a nice event to photograph. Keep going back and make a photo essay of the whole egg-laying, hatching and rearing episode. I did it with swans before, and it was really rewarding.
