Day 28 - Ferns Unveiling
I just wanted to record these ferns unfurling. They remind me of swan heads. I would love to see the entire growth in slow motion as all the fronds unfold.
I love this photo so much! Ferns intrigue me because of their wonderful symetry - each little frond is like a new copy of the fern itself. These things are living fractals - the mathematics behind their construction is amazing.
Oh how many springs have we seen this? The greens in the spring time are so vivid, before the sun has bleached them to a more subdued green. Very attractive image and I like the way the two unfolding ferns balance each other.

Beautiful crisp focus on those fern fronds. I like how they are separated from the background through your choice of aperture. Nice work.
